Hi, I'm Dippin' and I'm here with my sister Dots. Of the two of us, I'm in charge but that doesn't mean my sister is a shy bunny by any means. We are both adventurous buns who will hop in the laps of people who sit down to visit with us. I can be a little grumpy when I'm reached for and grunt, but I settle down when someone has me all secure. If you are looking for an active pair, come visit with me and my sis and see if we are the right duo for you!

If the pet is already spayed/neutered, and we're not waiting on a meet & greet or medical results to come back, the pet can go home TODAY!

Additional adoption info

VHS Adoption hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 12:00-6:00 pm Central Standard Time.

Our adoption fees are as follows:

Cats & kittens: $100
Dogs older than 6 months: $200
Puppies under 6 months: $250
Rabbits: $50

Dog and cat adoption fees include the animal's spay or neuter, nationally-registered microchip, and age-appropriate vaccinations.

Please visit our shelter between the hours of 12:00 noon CST and 6:00 pm CST Tuesday through Saturday to adopt an animal, no appointment needed!

The Vanderburgh Humane Society, Inc. (VHS), a tax exempt, 501(c)(3) organization, was founded in 1957. We receive no tax-based funding whatsoever. Therefore, we depend on the generosity of the corporate community and the public at large to continue, and hopefully expand, the much needed services we offer.
