For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Hi there, my name is Pugo and I`m one happy-go-lucky pup ready for adventure! As a large, affectionate, and easygoing dog, I just love seeing new places and meeting new friends. My intelligence means I`m a quick learner, and I`m always eager to please. When I`m not snuggling up for cuddles, you can find me happily exploring the great outdoors. I`m up for any journey, whether it`s a hike through the woods, a stroll along the beach, or a relaxing road trip. With my curious nature and love of adventure, I`d make the perfect travel companion. Let`s hit the road together. I`m full grown at ~50 lbs. How did I get here? Transferred from Harnett County Animal Shelter where I was brought in as a stray.
**I am currently living at the admission center - please fill out a survey and select a phone appointment to complete the adoption process. Once that process is complete, your adoption specialist will schedule a time for you to meet me in person! I have been diagnosed with heartworm disease and will begin treatment soon - please speak with an adoption specialist for details.**
~My adoption fee is $120.00.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
