Hello everyone! I'm Agatha and I am so ready to meet you and see your smiling face when you look at me, knowing I AM THE ONE! The forever one, right? I'd love for you to read to me, particularly mysteries. Remember, my name is Agatha, and Agatha Christie is my favorite author! Or let's just sit on the couch and binge-watch some shows. I'm not picky as long as I'm with you! This little lady is quite the sweet and kind little two-year old, but still quite shy around you human types. Once I've been with you a bit, however, we'll be best buds. I have quite the striking coat and there is no doubt you will be admiring me for hours on end. I'm not arrogant though; I just know a good looking gal when I see one (in the mirror that is). I know you will think so too, so please come on down to Woods and see me for yourself!

If you are interested in adopting an animal, please visit our shelter and spend time with the animals. Upon application approval the adoption will be processed.

Puppies (under 5 months of age): $200
Dogs (5 months - 7 years): $150
Dogs (7+ years): $100

Kittens (under 5 months of age): $150
Cats (5 months - 7 years): $80
Cats (7+ years): $65

Woods Humane Society, Inc. is a nonprofit, privately funded organization dedicated to the humane care of unwanted animals in San Luis Obispo County. Our Staff, volunteers, and board of directors are dedicated to upholding our Mission and preserving the welfare of our present and future animals.

While we cooperate with the State Humane Association of California, the American Humane Association, and The Humane Society of the United States, Woods does not receive financial support from them. Only 20% of our revenues to care for the animals are generated by service fees, the other 80% is generated from fund-raising events, grants, wills, and mainly community donations.

Woods Humane Society is proud to be a leader among the nation’s humane organizations. Thanks to loyal and broad-based community support, and the diligent efforts of our dedicated staff and volunteers, Woods placement rate averages 97%, an outstanding achievement.
