Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lily and Lucy are two soul sisters who were tied to a tree in a park near downtown LA and abandoned. Lucy, a 6-lb yorkie, had a prolapsed uterus and was flea-infested and full of foxtails. Lily who is an 11-lb Shih Tzu was matted to the skin and her eyes were crusted shut. She also was flea ridden and had a horrible skin infection. All healed now. Both these girls have had multiple litters, and I'm sure it was a disgusting backyard breeder who "used them up" and then abandoned them.
Despite their horrific background, they are both as sweet as can be and love everyone they meet. They're great with other dogs and kids and walk well on a leash.
Lily and Lucy are extremely bonded with each other and, when separated, each will cry for the other. Together they blend synergistically and are less work than one dog. They are not barkers nor destructive. They are totally self-entertaining but love the opportunity to be on a lap snuggling with their foster parents and getting belly rubs.
Both Lucy and Lily had to be shaved down but their beautiful coats will grow back in no time.
There is only one adoption fee ($425) for both.
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Lily and Lucy, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Please go to our website www.k9bestfriendsforever.com and click on "Adopt" which will take you to our online application form.
