My name is Tootsie Roll!

Tootsie Roll was found outside, less than two weeks away from giving birth. She had a herniated kidney that the rescue had to repair and was very malnourished. Three of her kittens were stillborn and two were healthy and adopted. Tootsie Roll did not enjoy being a mother, and does not like kittens. She would prefer a home with older cats that would leave her be, and she can leave them be. She gets along well with another senior cat in her foster home. 

Tootsie Roll is an extremely loving, sweet kitty. She likes to sit on her foster's lap and purr. No one is a stranger to her, and everyone is privvy to her love. She is curious and likes to explore her surroundings thoroughly. You never would know that Tootsie Roll is 7; she plays and runs like a cat much younger. Tootsie Roll has been with us for an extended period of time because she has a tendency to nip when she wants something. It often takes people by surprise. We love her, and think that it gives her personality. She takes transdermal Amitriptyline once a day in her ear and she is very well-behaved for it. 

Tootsie Roll is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm.
