Rain is a ravishing and petite eight year old long haired Scottish Fold, with a golden tortoiseshell colored coat, a ruff around her neck, and a fluffy plume tail. A magical unicorn kitty, she is simply not thriving in her current environment, and would do much better in a home where there is not as much activity as in her current home (where there are foster Cats and Dogs and a lot of noise and commotion.) Rain is a fairly quiet and mellow girl who loves other Cats, and most people. She doesn't like Dogs or small children. Rain enjoys being scratched under her chin and behind her ears, and will come to you, especially if you have food and treats! (Who doesn't love a good treat??) She is sensitive under her arms and belly when being brushed and although she does have some arthritis in her back hips, she runs, jumps, and climbs with ease, and does not require any medications or supplements. Rain needs to be an indoors only Cat and prefers a wet food diet. She loves Weruva Wet Food and uses Pretty Litter. She is fond of toys on occasion, especially catnip or silvervine. All applicants are screened thru our application process. Visitors are welcome at any time to meet and spend time with our animals. Our information is listed if our volunteers are not onsite to answer any and all questions you may have. Potential adoptors are encouraged to call ahead to make sure the Animal they want to meet is in the cattery as some of our Animals are in foster homes.

Cat Connection 501(c) is a non-profit Cat and Dog rescue organization officially established in 1996. We rescue Cats and Dogs from the shelters and streets, take care of their medical and socialization and adopt them into new homes. Cat Connection is an all volunteer group with no paid staff. All donations and money raised goes directly to the care of our Animals.
Cat Connection Animal rescues include: Los Angeles County and City shelters, Animals from homes that can no longer keep them and sick and injured Animals from the streets.
Animals that come into Cat Connection are fully vetted, including testing for FELV/FIV, vaccinations, de-worming and treated for any illnesses and medical conditions.
Cat Connection is a no-kill Rescue Group; all animals stay with us in our Cattery or foster homes until placed into a permanent home.
We offer the public the courtesy of posting their Animals on our Adoption sites and social media if they need to re-home them.
