Hi there! I’m Zelda, and I’m looking for my forever family! I’m a feisty little Shepherd mix who was recently surrendered to the wonderful folks at FDHS after my previous owner couldn’t care for me anymore. But that just means I’m ready for a fresh start with someone who will love me forever!

I’m super smart (if I do say so myself) and will do great with a little structure and training. At around 50-60 pounds when I’m fully grown, I’ll need plenty of space to run and play, and since I’m an energetic breed, I’ll keep you on your toes!

Once an application is filled out for animal of interest, the adoption coordinator and director will review app.
*Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client
*Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations
*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have pets
Can take 1-3 days for approval or denial. Please be patient with us.
Animals are not first come, first serve. We work to find the best homes possible for not only the adopters, but our animals.
