Meet Emily, a stunning long-haired kitten with the most beautiful coat you’ve ever seen! When she first arrived at FDHS with her brother Victor, she was covered in knots and tangles. After a much-needed bath and a little haircut, she’s looking a bit silly but feeling so much better!

Emily is still very shy and adjusting to life at the shelter, so she’s taking her time to get comfortable. As she starts to feel more at ease, we’ll update her story and let you know more about her personality.

Once an application is filled out for animal of interest, the adoption coordinator and director will review app.
*Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client
*Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations
*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have pets
Can take 1-3 days for approval or denial. Please be patient with us.
Animals are not first come, first serve. We work to find the best homes possible for not only the adopters, but our animals.
