Meet Miss Maggie, a gentle two-year-old girl with a heart that's slowly learning to trust. When she first arrived, Maggie was terrified. She wouldn't make eye contact, trembled when she tried to pet her, and hid under the office desk, unsure of the world around her. Her past has left some scars- she wasn't treated kindly by the humans who were supposed to love her. But even after being let down, Maggie still has so much love to give.
Thankfully, Maggie didn't spend long at our facility before a wonderful foster stepped up and welcomed her into their home. And it didn't take long for the real Maggie to shine through! Within an hour, we received videos of her playing, being silly, and feeling relaxed with the other dog in the home. This is who Maggie really is- sweet, playful and full of joy when she feels safe.
Maggie is looking for a forever home where she can continue to blossom, with people who will shower her with the love and kindness she deserves. *Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations
*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have pets
