Meet Barrel.

This beefy bully with a heart of gold is on the hunt for his very own forever family.

Barrel, with his muscular build and eyes that hold both strength and vulnerability, is a true gentle giant with people but unfortunately was returned for fighting with the other dog in the home.

His coat is a canvas of black spots on his white fur and he has sweet soulful eyes. Barrel dreams of finding a forever family—a place where he can be the sole star, soaking up love like sun on a summer day.

Barrel is a loyal protector of his people and his loyalty runs deep. He’ll stand by your side, a silent guardian who’d move mountains to keep you safe.

Barrel can also be a big teddy bear. Beneath his brawny exterior lies a heart as soft as marshmallow fluff. Barrel adores belly rubs and will lean into your touch, eyes half-closed in bliss.

Barrel loves playtime. Tug-of-war, fetch, or a game of hide-and-seek—he’s up for it all. His tail wags like a metronome when he’s having fun. He would much rather spend his days soaking up the sun and playing with you, than in this shelter looking at the same four walls all the time.

Barrel dreams of a loving home where he can stretch out on plush rugs and watch the world go by. He is basically just a pup and not even a year old yet.

He thrives with adults who understand his breed. His loyalty will be unwavering, and he’ll be your confidant through thick and thin. He is incredibly smart, food motivated, and very trainable.

Barrel is looking to be an only child meaning no young kids or other pets in the home, he prefers to be the solo act. He wants all the cuddles and attention for himself.

He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and kept on prevention with is. He is friendly, affectionate, vocal, and such a good boy who deserves a home of his own.

With love and patience, Barrel will learn that the world can be kind. Imagine him curled up beside you, eyes half-closed, dreaming of walks in the park and a heart that beats just for him.

If you’re ready for a beefy companion with a heart of gold, look no further, Barrel is waiting!
