Meet Daisy!

Daisy is a sweet senior Lab mix who's been in and out of the shelter for far too long—much longer than she's ever known the comfort of a real home.

Despite her past hardships, Daisy's personality shines through with every joyful wiggle and happy feet dance she does when she sees her favorite people. Her expressive and animated face tells a thousand stories, and she's overflowing with love to give.

Daisy's past has left her wary of children, and it seems she may have had some traumatic experiences with them. Because of this, she's looking for a home where she can be the only "child," without having to share with any kids or other pets.

Daisy has undergone surgery in the past and is currently on a journey to shed a few pounds. And she's doing great sticking to her goals! She'll need to continue her joint supplements and may require pain medication to keep her comfortable in her golden years.

This lovable girl has a knack for escaping surprisingly, so her new home will need to keep a close eye on her and ensure she stays safe and secure and can't go running out the front door.

While Daisy is silly and sweet, she doesn't take kindly to strangers in her home all the time, so a low-traffic, low-energy environment is ideal. She dreams of a cozy spot to snuggle up with her humans and be spoiled rotten.

Daisy is around 7 years old and a staff favorite. But our hearts are breaking watching her grow old in the shelter. She is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and kept on prevention here with us.

Daisy's been in the shelter far too long and is yearning for a forever home where she can finally relax and feel loved. She hates going back into her cage every day, and who could blame her?

Are you ready to give Daisy the loving, peaceful home she deserves? Let's get her out of the shelter and into the caring arms of her forever family!
