Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you are interested in this dog PLEASE carefully read the bio on the dog below. If you are a match please submit an adoption application at WWW.GADR.ORG. Incomplete applications will not be processed. We reserve the right to deny any application that is deemed unfit or unsuitable for the dog. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the dogs that fall under our care. Please be patient our rescue consists of all volunteers. Please don't be upset at us if you're not able to adopt. We do our best.
We are now accepting applications for our sweet girl Daisy Mae. She has quite a story and has been through so much. We received an urgent plea from a county shelter to save her. Poor Daisy was a stray in a neighborhood for weeks and the saddest part is she was born with luxating patella's aka her knees were out of the joint. It was so painful to watch her even walk when we rescued her. The fact this scared dog was a stray with this deformity broke our heart.
Fast forward to today our rescue paid to have very expensive surgery to repair her issue. Now her patella's are in place. Sometimes she does limp or hold her leg up. She probably will always have a limp or walk strange. Daisy is receiving physical therapy and that really helps. She can never jump on couches but she loves her pet beds. Daisy is nervous at first and is a typical chihuahua, fearful at first and then strongly protective and loving. Daisy loves to cuddle on our extra large pet bed we have. She is healthy and loves our foster dad dearly. We are looking for that special perfect family with a fenced in yard and love and empathy for our girl Daisy to give her a forever home.
Daisy is estimated to be about 3 years old but we think she's younger. Daisy is a female tri color chihuahua mix. Daisy weighs about 12 lbs. She is spayed, up to date on all her shots, heartworm flea preventatives, dewormed and microchipped! Please only apply if you are willing to be patient and let her decompress. Daisy is the definition of perseverance and hope. We love her so much.
Daisy's adoption donation is only 300.00! Are you the one for Daisy Mae?
All adoptions include 30 days pet health insurance, dog food, harness, leash and lifetime training tips

More about this rescue
We are a rescue consisting of all foster homes. We visit the county shelters where most dogs have no chance. We pull them and get them spayed or neutered and they receive medical care including all shots and microchipped. We then put them up for adoption.
