Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Lulu is available through our `Adopt From a Foster Home` program. Please email adopt@calgaryhumane.ca if you are interested in scheduling a meeting. Please do not make an appointment through our online booking calendar, as Lulu is not available to meet on site.
Age: 1.5 years Weight: 4.15 kg
If you`re looking for a companion with a bit (or a lot) of character, Lulu is the guy for you! After coming into our care in September for circumstances beyond his control, he`s shown us just how much personality he has. Although he was initially quite shut down, Lulu has slowly blossomed into a more outgoing kitty, especially thanks to his foster home! Lulu has many quirks, but the most noteworthy is his communication style - his mouth. He is an absolute sucker for affection, but if he`s not fully comfortable, he`ll seek it out with the power of a few love bites. Since being in his foster home, his biting has significantly decreased as he has settled more and more. Now, he is a super active, confident and vocal boy who demands his daily meals and playtime. He is a very active boy who would benefit from tons of enrichment and interactive play with his people to prevent boredom. He is also excellent at playing fetch! There is never a dull moment with Lulu, so what are you waiting for? Email the adoptions team today if you`re interested in learning more!

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
