Meet Tamales!
Tamales and his brother Taco came to us from a high kill shelter in the south.
These boys are only 13 months old, basically still puppies, and have already been through so much in their short lives.
They are beyond ready for life to slow down a bit and for a family to love them for all they are.
Tamales and Taco do not have to go to a home together, in fact, we usually do not recommend adopting sibling pups, but Taco and Tamales have been together their whole life and so far that has been the only consistent thing about their lives.
Both Tamales and Taco are very shy, timid, and skittish little guys but they are completing different dogs when they are together. They really help build each other up and bring out each other goofiness and confidence so we are hoping someone will find it in their heart to keep these boys together.
Tamales is a little shy with new people but don't let that fool you. Once he knows he is safe with you, he is beyond friendly and a stage 5 clinger. He would love to be living life with you as your best buddy.
Tamales is 13 months old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and kept on prevention here with us.
Both him and his brother are no so patiently waiting for their very own happily ever after!!

We are an animal hospital in Sterling Heights Michigan that is also a licensed shelter.
We take on dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens in need. We vet all of our adoptable animals and take the utmost care of them until we can find them their perfect loving forever homes.
All of our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, receive fecal testing and treatment, and are microchipped before adoption.
Our dogs are heartworm tested and kept on prevention here with us. We do require that they stay on year round heartworm prevention after going home.
Our cats are all triple tested for FIV, FelV, and Heartworm disease before adoption.
