Mazy here, and the reason I am here is because my family didn’t want me anymore. My best friends, the kids, went to college, and I just wasn’t that close to Mom and Dad. And they weren’t cat people, if you understand. They wanted me to be gone, so I am with this wonderful rescue, Feline the Love. Photogenic? I am cover girl material, doncha’ think? I love to be petted, and I haven’t had nearly enough of that recently. I might be a little shy at first, (We cats just do that when we are unsure)…but I will warm up to you soon. My adoption process is thorough and we take our time. I have saved my cats from terrible situations, eminent death, severe illness or other problems. I am deeply invested in them. I need their new guardian to be the same. They are our family, and they need to succeed in yours...

Feline the Love is a small rescue that doesn't really fundraise, but funds the rescue itself. I recognize cats in peril and do my best to help them, and there are thousands. I work in media, and am active in Sacramento supporting free spay/neuter that's accessible for all. I'm a member of the Greater Los Angeles Animal Spay/Neuter Collaborative. Because of my work, I choose to stay low-key about my philanthropic efforts.
