This super sweet little ball of fluff just looks at you like she desperately wants out of here, and back into a great home. Her name is Reigu and she's only 3 years old. She was turned in due to her owners stating that they were downsizing. Reigu may look scared and unsure and honestly, she is, but just pet her and give her a little reassurance and she just melts. She is very sweet and just wants to feel safe. Reigu lived with other cats and kids too, and she would love to go to a home where she'd have a mild-mannered feline friend to pal around with. She's going to positively come alive once she gets herself comfy and situation in a new loving home of her own. Please give Reigu a fresh start in life! Call 609-693-1900 or email: office@ahsppz.org for an application. File#75163 8/22/24

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not for profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
Please visit our website AHSCares.org for additional information.
