Puddles was sitting neck deep in a rain puddle on the day he was found. Barely bigger than a fist, this tiny dumpling must have been dropped by his mother as she was scurrying to find shelter from a rainstorm.
Some passersby heard loud, pitiful yowls amidst a major thunderstorm and was shocked to see a dirty, brown ball of fluff, literally drowning in a small puddle of water. Puddles was scooped up and brought into foster care where he was dried out in a fuzzy blanket and offered a warm bottle of kitten milk. He guzzled it down so fast that it was a wonder his swollen belly didn't burst.
Once his belly was full, we can see how active the little guy can be and Puddles was introduced to Bramble, who became his foster brother. Being slightly older, Puddles set out to show Bramble the ropes: how to use the litter box, how to con the foster mom into doling out more wet food and how to ingratiate yourself to the humans by displaying huge, melting, limpid eyes.
He is the sweetest and gentlest little kitten. His favorite thing is being held, cuddled and nuzzled by his foster mom. He loudly signals his approval with motorized purrs. With his soft, silky fur coat, his uniquely doll-like face and chill temperament, Puddles is going to charm his new family to the ninth degree. If you want a kitten that likes to nuzzle for your face and give you ear kisses, Puddles is ready and willing! Come meet him and his adorable other half, Bramble. They are a dynamic duo in cuteness and charm.
We would love to show this handsome baby and his siblings to you. Please fill out a Meet and Greet form for him or contact 214 621 1139 for more information about our sweet kitten.
This is a No Exception Rule: Due to its young age, this kitten cannot be adopted into a home that has no other young cat(s) or kitten(s) for it to socialize with. Consider adopting the kitten with a sibling if you don't already have a kitten or cat at home.
Please note the following: We always do vet reference checks and we WILL NOT adopt kittens or cats into household where the residential pets are unvaccinated. This is to ensure the safety of BOTH our kitten/cat and your current pets. We also only adopt locally and will reserve the right to deny Meet and Greet as our volunteers cannot do any home visits if the distance is too great.

More about this rescue
Our Mission Statement:
To match every cat or kitten within our foster program with a permanent, loving family.
We are a small network of rescue volunteers based in the DFW area who are banding together to foster and adopt out rescued cats and kittens!
Our cats and kittens come to us under a variety of conditions: Some of our cats were rescued from hoarding situations or surrendered by their owners, while others were found by good Samaritans after being dumped and abandoned. Some of our mother cats were tossed out, pregnant and malnourished, because their owners never spayed them and did not want litters of kittens in their homes. Our luckiest kittens were born inside our fosters' homes and have known nothing but love and affection from humans. Each of our cats and kittens has been through a big journey and has a unique story to tell.
We all work towards a common goal of finding these sweet, loving cats a wonderful forever home where they will be cherished and pampered for the rest of their lives.
