My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Magpie was left to live on the streets alone. She was fed by several neighbors, but would never get too close to people. During the night, Magpie would collect belongings from all the neighbors. She became the talk of the neighborhood.

Magpie ended up at Barc Animal Shelter, on their euthanasia list. She was saved by WUWF Rescue, and slowly learned to trust humans. She is still a little shy, but loves to run and play in the yard. She also enjoys walks, and is great in the car.

Magpie is quiet, and would do great in a home where she can enjoy hanging out with her family. She gets along with some dogs (not small ones), not good with cats.

Magpie weighs 60 lbs and is about 3 yrs old. She is located in Houston, Tx and can be transported to most states with a transport fee.

More about this rescue

Hi, I am the founder of Waiting Under the Willow Foundation, also known as W.U.W.F. We work hard at trying to find homes for dogs that are homeless or scheduled to be euthanized at Harris County Animal Shelter. There are so many dog out there that are so loving and deserving of a good home. My hopes is that more people will open their hearts and homes to some of these sweet dogs❤️. Rescue dogs make the best pets!!!
