For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Welcome Blossom to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 5-month old Whippet/Laborador. She looks like a mini Laborador. She shouldn’t be any larger than 30-pounds full grown. She is super sweet and is very social. She likes everyone and isn’t afraid or shy around strangers. This will be a great dog for a social person that wants to take their dog to any local coffee shop. She would also be great in doggie daycare. She is friendly with other dogs. She is decent on a leash and on a good schedule will do her business outside. She is good in a crate and will be a great dog for someone wanting a Lab but not wanting a large dog. She sheds a small amount now and we think moderate shedding as an adult. She would be great with a family with children. We like them 8 or older but we feel confident in a rambunctious household being fine for this sweet dog. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

More about this rescue
C.C.P.A.L. seeks to reduce the enormous problem of pet overpopulation in Bandera County We promote low-cost spay/neuter programs; advise on basic health care & proper shelter for pets & offer excellent dog obedience classes several times each year. Since 2002, CCPAL has rescued nearly 5,000 animals. We are in constant need of foster homes for these pets until we find them homes. Our pets are in kennels on an acreage in Texas. We can use a transporter to get them outside of Texas if we find a great home.
