Welcome Ella to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 4-pound Chorkie is our best guess. (Chihuahua/Yorkshire Terrier) She should not be bigger than 5 pounds as the biggest. She goes potty on a wee pad and can walk on leash. She is used to sleeping in a open play pen over a crate. She is vocal and will let you know when she needs something or wants out of her kennel. She is very active and has a big personality. She barks like she is tough but when it comes down to it, she is really an affectionate marshmallow. She would be best with someone that has time for a puppy and doesn’t work all day everyday. Ella needs time and attention to become the great adult dog. She is good in a car and likes being held. She would be a great dog to put in a doggie carrier and going with you places. She does retrieve things and bring them back. This is great as she can get some of her exercise fetching things to bring back. She likes to dig which is a common Terrier trait. She doesn’t shed much and over all a very fun pup. She will keep you laughing and on your toes with her fun personality. She would be fine with children as she is very social. We like them to be 8 or older due to her small size and trusting nature. She is in Texas and we would like her to be adopted locally in Texas. Her adoption fee is 400. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. C.C.P.A.L. seeks to reduce the enormous problem of pet overpopulation in Bandera County We promote low-cost spay/neuter programs; advise on basic health care & proper shelter for pets & offer excellent dog obedience classes several times each year. Since 2002, CCPAL has rescued nearly 5,000 animals. We are in constant need of foster homes for these pets until we find them homes. Our pets are in kennels on an acreage in Texas. We can use a transporter to get them outside of Texas if we find a great home.
