My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moose is a loving dog who attaches to humans but can’t be trusted without supervision around any tailed creatures.

We adopted Moose a few weeks before his 1st birthday (DOB 4/8/21) from a friend of the family who was worried that he was going to hurt one of their cats.

That was 2 1/2 yrs ago and we also have two dogs, a 13 yr male lab mutt and 6 yr old female Jack Russel. There were some dog fight skirmishes around food and we learned to feed them separate. Since then Moose bit another dog while kenneled when we were on vacation summer 2022 (causing wounds to head and neck of another dog that occurred without warning) and has bit older brother a few times. He bit our Jack Russel for the second time requiring emergency care. We have sadly accepted that Moose needs to be the only dog in a new setting.

He is sweet, loves exercise, soccer balls, and car rides. And will be great for experienced dog person or family.

Will include gentle lead, crate & 2 beds.
