My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Such a special girl with so much love to offer! Banks, a 2-year-old, 60 lb house and crate trained Pit/Boxer mix, has never met a stranger. She’s exceptionally happy, friendly, and affectionate,  great with children (she grew up with 2), rides nicely in the car, has zero concept of stranger danger, makes a very pretty couch potato, knows lots of commands, and is a fantastic listener. Because of her size, sure-footed kids are the best fit. If there's another dog, a playful canine sibling her size or bigger would be the best fit. Truthfully, we think she’d LOVE to be an only dog and soak up ALL the love. No cats or small critters. Banks is microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed.   Her adoption fee is $600.

More about this rescue

Ollie's Angels Animal Rescue is a rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of abused and neglected dogs across the country. Ollie's Angels does not determine whether a life is worth saving based on age, special needs, or physical condition. In our eyes, every animal deserves a second chance at life.

We believe that every dog, as well as every adopter, has a unique tale to tell. Our mission is to consider both the needs of our animals and their humans to find the best possible match for each life we save. Adopting a dog is a very emotional experience, and we are committed to treating all of our adopters with respect and kindness throughout the adoption process.

Our special foster program gives us the chance to get to know each dog on a personal level. This helps us to select the perfect home for each individual dog based on his/her needs and personality. Each and every animal we save is adopted into a safe and loving forever home where he/she will be a cherished member of the family. Prior to being placed in a new home, all of our animals receive the highest quality medical care, as well as being spayed/neutered, microchipped, and updated on vaccinations.
