Apollo is a lovable and goofy 7-year-old Rottweiler who will melt your heart with his adorable antics and charming personality. Despite his size, Apollo is a gentle guy, who loves to spend time with his humans and soak up the love. He's a big softy, and loves to give kisses and ask for pats. He'll plop himself down directly in front of you, in hopes you'll have no other choice than to give into him. FYI, we can confirm this strategy works reeeeally well for our boy! With his little tail stub wagging away, and his smile big and bright, it's not hard to tell when he's having a good time. #bestwigglebum 🏆

While Apollo loves to get out and about, his body doesn't always agree with his youthful spirit. Since coming into our care, a little on the "fluffy" side, we're pleased to share that our fave big guy has lost almost 15lbs - YAY! What does this mean for Apollo? Well, he's feeling fit, there's less strain on his joints, and he's ready for all the (light) adventures! Apollo loves short walks, lake days, car rides, snugs with his human friends, and of course a good nap 😏

Even with arthritis present, Apollo doesn't let that stop him from being his fun-loving self. He plays just as much as the next, and his mind is present in all things. He is as smart as a whip and knows quite the list of commands. Happy to engage and create new games, Apollo will have your home filled with love, laughter, and toots 🙈

Apollo has previous experience with dogs but can be selective upon meetings. He would do best in a home with a mid-large female canine, or as the only animal so he can focus on his own journey.
