My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mac!

Our Mac AKA Mac attack. Mac is a fun, loving and affectionate boy. He loves all his humans the same and doesn’t play favorites. He’s a typical playful puppy who’s always down for a good time. Mac lives with a 17 year old feline foster sister who he shows some interest in but if he tries to push the limits, which is rare, he immediately responds to the cats correction. He loves his canine foster brothers and playtime with them. Mac lives with a teen human brother and a 4 year old human sister. He loves his four year old but is a typical puppy and will respond well to correction when he gets excited. He gives the best kisses and loves to be on your lap. Mac hasn’t met a toy he doesn’t love. He is crate trained and pee pad trained. Mac would do great in a home with kids of any age but if the kids are young then the adults need to be expecting typically puppy behavior and be on top of the corrections. He listens well and all the guy wants to do is play.

Puppy: up to 1 yr $450.00

Our dogs are spayed/neutered and a registered chip. For our puppies they are up to date on vaccinations.  Once adopted it is the new owner’s responsibility to continue the remaining vaccinations with a veterinarian.

Our adoption process includes an initial conversation about the dog to see if the dog is a good match or if another dog could be a more suitable match. We also will complete a home visit. It should be noted that our adoption counselors know the dogs and can best guide any possible adopter with a suitable match.

Please visit https://www.calpaws.org/available-dogs for the adoption application!

We are always in need of experienced fosters for the amount of dogs we have coming in. Being a foster is such a rewarding experience. If you are interested please review https://www.calpaws.org/fostering
