My name is Phoebe!

Hi! I'm Phoebe, a pretty little lap panther!

I love hanging out with my human! I'm a real snuggler and enjoy sitting on your lap or laying with you on the couch - and I hope you'll give me some under-the-chin rubs while I'm there, I especially like those. If you take me with you, I'll go to bed with you too! If you'd rather I didn't, I'm happy to sleep in my own bed in another room.

I also like to spend time in windows, watching everything that's happening outside. I'm not a fan of other animals and may hiss, and occasionally swat, at them. I can live with other cats, if they leave me alone and can handle an occasional bop if they get too close. I'm a little girl and don't try to start a fight or anything like that; I just want them to stay away. I'm not afraid of the dog I currently live with, but I do try to keep my distance from him and I'd be ok living with a dog who'll leave me alone.

I am a bit too food motivated for my own good, so will need some help with that from my human. I have to be fed in small portions or in a slow feeder bowl; otherwise I'll throw up from eating too quickly or too much. A slow feeder mat works well for wet food and I can only be given a small amount of kibble at each feeding time.
