Hi. I'm 'Speedy Gonzales' and I am one fast little guy and a pretty quick learner. They say you can teach an old dog (I'm 10) new tricks. Over the last couple weeks, I've learned to trust the humans who took me in. It took a bit, but I follow my foster mom around everywhere and don't stray too far. I react to other humans coming into my space by barking.
I've learned to eat dog food, as long as it's mushed up and soft. I prefer human food and beg for it, but my foster family is working on correcting me. I've learned the backyard is for doing my business, but its a work in progress. I don't like it when it's wet or cold, but i get a treat when I do a good job. I like walks and exploring as long as I'm next to my foster mom. She's taken me camping, and to her office and lots of car rides. As long as I have a safe space to curl up and nap I am all good!
Likes: napping in a nest, my foster mom and more napping. Dislikes: new people, I need to learn they're safe then I'll curl up with them
Housetrained: For the most part, I just need to work on it a little more now there is more routine in my life. Kennel Trained: Yes
Dogs: I've met other dogs, some big and some small, and if they don't bother me, I don't bother them. Cats: I've not met one, but I am sure it would be okay. Kids: I think a quieter home would be better.

Infinite Woofs Animal Rescue Society is a foster home based Animal Rescue located in Edmonton, Alberta. We rescue, rehabilitate and re-home unwanted, abused and neglected animals and find them their forever homes. We are different from other animal rescues in that we will try our best to not only help cats and dogs but any pet animal that has been unwanted, abused or neglected subject to our volunteers, foster homes and donations. This is one of the many reasons iwars needs you!
Infinite Woofs Animal Rescue Society is a no-kill animal rescue organization. We will help out any of the animals we take into care with any medical treatments, procedures and medications they may need. We will only euthanize when it is with a qualified veterinarians advice such as terminal illnesses where the animal is suffering. Every animal that comes into iwars is a member of the family.
We need volunteers to help in all different areas of iwars and with your help we can help to save more animals lives. We here at strive to save one animal at a time and acknowledge that "saving one animal will not change the world but surely for that one animal the world will change forever" - Unknown.
