Location: Lexington, SC
Name: Sophie
Age: 11 weeks (DOB: 8/2/24)
Breed: DSH - Tabico
M/F: female
Spayed/Neutered/Shots: has had first round of fvrcp and has been dewormed; getting 2nd round and dewormed again this friday (12 weeks)
Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: have been fine with everyone they’ve met so far
Reason for rehoming?: last female of the colony finally trapped after she brought us a litter of kittens… this is the last of that litter
Would you like rescue help?: no - already with one
Additional info/story (personality):
Is the most bold and adventurous out of her group. Fine being held and don’t hiss or claw or anything like that. Eating dry food but wet food is their weakness and what has got them extra loving with me now. Of course like playing with toys and climbing. Would most likely do better with other cats rather than by herself as she has been extra noisy/disruptive since her siblings left.
Link to reel with her in it: https://www.facebook.com/reel/1566059423989746
Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Adoption application & contract required to ensure good home and remaining vetting is completed (1 more rounds of fvrcp, rabies, and spay)

We are foster based only at this time.

Meet and greets for cats are near impossible normally because we all foster/house both cats and dogs and the dogs "go off" when visitors come over making all the cats hide.

More about this rescue
In service of domestic animals in South Carolina, Frisky Business Rescue is a no-kill rescue that provides vital resources such as veterinary care, birthing assistance, medication, and rehoming or safe release (TNR) to the most vulnerable animals in the region. We specialize in animals with special circumstances that come from various backgrounds, including animal hoarding and abusive situations but primarily focus on vulnerable kittens, puppies, and pregnant/nursing dogs and cats. Before rehoming, we carefully screen new potential families to ensure the needs of our animals are met and that new homes will become furever homes.
