My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mischief: The Sweet & Sassy Sidekick!

Mischief is a young French Bulldog with a heart as big as her personality! This little lady came to us from a Southern California shelter, involved in a police situation, and was unable to be advertised for adoption. But lucky for her (and you!), we got the call to swoop in and give this unique girl a chance at a better life.

True to her name, Mischief can be a bit… well, mischievous. Most of the time, she’s a sweet cuddle bug who adores her foster mom, shadowing her around the house and staying close 24/7. But every now and then, without warning, she’ll show her sassy side. Even during belly rubs, she might give you a little snap—not a full-on bite, but a “Hey, I’m setting some boundaries” kind of warning. We originally thought this behavior might be pain-related, but after checking her out, we found she has the usual Frenchie quirks (hello, closely spaced vertebrae!) but nothing causing her real discomfort.

She’s come a long way in her foster home, and her snappiness has started to subside as she settles in. However, she’s still on guard at times, so Mischief will need to be placed in a home with kids 15 years or older. She’s independent but loves her people—especially when it’s time for morning zoomies or when you come home from work. Plus, she’s got the cutest sploot you’ll ever see!

Mischief is mostly potty trained, with just the occasional accident, especially during transitions. She’s great with her foster siblings, occasionally joining in for some playtime but also perfectly happy to sit back and observe. Given her past, she’s understandably cautious, but with consistency, patience, and a lot of love, she’ll continue to thrive.
What is required to adopt Mischief is a family with patience, understanding, and a lot of love. No children under 15 years of age. Someone ready for morning zoomies and a little bit of sass!

This girl has had a tough start in life, and she deserves the best home where she can feel safe and loved. If you’re looking for a Frenchie who’s equal parts snuggle buddy and independent spirit, Mischief is your girl!
She is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and ready to find her forever home. Her adoption donation fee is $1000.00. if you are interested in adopting Mischief, please apply on our website.
