My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Fee: $275, plus taxes
Location: Foster Home

Meet Pear, the delightful 5-month-old female kitten who is sure to steal your heart! Described by my daughter as the "most snuggly, cutest kitty you will ever meet."

Pear embodies the perfect combination of playful energy and affectionate cuddles. This petite little fur-ball adores engaging in fun playtime antics, whether it's chasing after toys or pouncing on imaginary foes.

When she's not busy being the life of the party, you'll find her curling up for cozy snuggles and showering her favorite humans with sweet kitty kisses. Pear is a wonderfully low-maintenance companion, making her an ideal addition to any family ready to share their love. If you're looking for a playful yet loving kitten to brighten your days, Pear is the purr-fect match!

Pear is about five months old, she is spayed, microchipped, and up to date with her vaccinations.

Go meet their pets

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue

Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.

In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.

CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
