My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tory is active and energetic. She loves to race, jump and climb. Tory the tornado gets a kick out of spinning in circles, just like a tornado, as she chases her tail! Tory is sweet, affectionate, curious, inquisitive and adventurous. She can entertain herself and enjoys playing with any type of cat toy. Tory adores rolling in catnip and is a big fan of squeezable treats. She enjoys hunting bugs and likes a cozy covered place to cuddle and hide. Tory can be a bit of a whirlwind at times, but she is not destructive or rebellious. Tory's ideal home is with an individual, couple or family; a home where she can play, explore and be adventurous. She does well with other cats but is especially fond of kitten Bingo who was by her side during her surgery journey. They romp together and then nap in a heap! Tory will be okay with a cat-friendly dog. She is a dilute tortoiseshell with regal green eyes. As of September 2024, Tory is 4 months old. She came to Friends of Jackson County at 2 weeks old with a badly broken back leg. The veterinarian's plan was to amputate but Tory was too young to undergo surgery. Doctor's orders were cage rest and pain medication during the growing time. Tory has recuperated from the amputation, is no longer on medication and is a happy playful kitten!
