My name is Cali, and, to be honest, I am kind of perfect. NO fuss, quite, affectionate, just looking for my furever purrson! I am truly a special girl who really, really (Did I say "really"?) wants to be someone's very best friend. If you enjoy seeing something blossom because you did it, I'm your choice! You see, I was going to be killed in a shelter when I was a teenage kitten because I was shy. Feline the Love saved me and loves me very much, of course. I was doing super-great, but then I decided I didn't like one of the little male cats in the rescue. He wanted to play hard with me, but it scared me. That's all. I have three male cat friends here who want to get amorous (I am spayed, for Heaven's sake!), but for some reason, this little guy just makes me nervous. I LOVE to have my back scratched and to be groomed, but with a few kitties here, I can't stand out. I am gentle, loving, and will be so loyal to My Person. Look at my pix: I am glamour puss material, yes? I take a pill every day to take the edge off, but I won't need that when I am in a less-busy place. And I am easy to pill. Won't you be my purrson? We will have a wonderful life together. We both deserve to be SO HAPPY! And I mean, aren't I so cute? (I know...)

Feline the Love is a small rescue that doesn't really fundraise, but funds the rescue itself. I recognize cats in peril and do my best to help them, and there are thousands. I work in media, and am active in Sacramento supporting free spay/neuter that's accessible for all. I'm a member of the Greater Los Angeles Animal Spay/Neuter Collaborative. Because of my work, I choose to stay low-key about my philanthropic efforts.
