My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My Adoption Fee is Waived!

Meet Kudu, a gentle soul with a heart as big as his squishy little face. This sweet dog is very easy to walk on leash, taking his time to sniff out every corner of the neighborhood. Sharing his space with a female friend he came with, he is often the first to greet visitors at the kennel, ready to get out.
Treat-motivated and eager to please, he knows `sit` and is always ready for some positive reinforcement.

Kudu recently met some social dogs at our shelter and did his own thing. He might do great living with the female dog (Meerkat) he came with. He did not seem to want to make new friends at our shelter and communicated that when other dogs engaged with him. It is possible however, that with slow introductions, he could make a new friend in his home with a lower key dog.   Check out his playgroup video here:

To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
