Have you ever wanted a Teddy Bear that purred? Well, look no further, it is me. I am Hukaba, a big teddy bear with really soft fur and a delicate voice. I may be a bit chunky, but all the more of me to love. I like head scratches and snuggles. Playing is in my profile. Toys that roll and make a little noise grab my attention. I play well with my friends too. Windows are a plus. The sunshine to lay in and watch the birds is an afternoon of fun. I also like to nap. I can spread out across the sofa on any Sunday afternoon. Bonus points for me...I do not snore! Let's nap together.

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
