Marley, a sweet senior boy, has been cherished his entire life. His family loved him dearly, but due to unfortunate circumstances, they were displaced and had to make the heartbreaking decision to bring him to the shelter. Now, Marley is feeling stressed in this unfamiliar environment and is hoping to find a new home as soon as possible.
Don’t let his age fool you—Marley may be an older gentleman, but he’s still a spry guy who lives for his daily walkies! A good stroll is the way to his heart, and afterward, he’s all about soaking up some sunshine or enjoying belly rubs (his favorite!).
Marley is housebroken, crate-trained, and incredibly smart. He knows sit, come, down, paw, and stay. He’s also a fan of beef treats and will happily show off his tricks for a snack. While he’s an easygoing guy, he does have a knack for escape artistry, so a secure yard and attentive supervision are essential.
Marley has been through a lot of changes recently—going from a family he loved for years, to this strange new shelter, and eventually to a new home. It’s a lot for any dog, so he’ll need a little extra time and patience to settle in and feel secure. Once he adjusts, his loyal and loving personality will shine.
Marley would thrive in a calm, loving home with kids aged 14 and up. Cats aren’t his cup of tea, but he’s open to meeting other dogs to see if they’re a good match.

Under 1 year: $200 1-4 years: $100 5-9 years: $55 10+ years: $35 Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.
Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. We encourage bringing your family and current pets, especially if traveling from afar.
