My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dorothea, affectionately known as Letty, Letty-Spaghetti, or Letty-Long-Tongue-the ultimate lounge pup! She's looking for a relaxed household where she can bask in the chill vibes, with the occasional burst of playful energy and leisurely walks. This girl is well-mannered in the home, minimal barking, low-shedding, and totally cool with bath time. She's also respectful of your space-no chewing on things she shouldn't, unless it's her favorite ball or a stuffed animal!

Though typically gentle, she'll surprise you with her bulldozer-like energy during a good game of fetch! Letty is crate-trained at night and when left alone, and has mastered potty training once her routine was established (a bell for potty cues might be helpful for her).

Letty's ideal home is one without other dogs, as she doesn't get along with many of her current foster's neighbors' dogs. While she's shown some curiosity about less confrontational dogs, her reactivity to others means she's happiest with minimal doggy interactions and fewer stimuli on her walks. She's not a runner but enjoys her calm walks-especially at night. She's improving on the leash, especially with her foster mom's treat-based training.

Letty is a champ with kids, tolerating her young foster siblings (ages 2 and 5) with ease. Though she warms up to humans outside, she may need a little time, patience, and the security of her crate when it comes to welcoming strangers into her home. With time and trust in her forever family, she'll open her heart even more.
