My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Mocha and I’m a pretty female Lab/Pit mix about 2 years old, weigh 59 lbs and I’m looking for a new forever home. I was adopted to a very nice family almost a year ago but when some domestic violence issues began, I was surrendered back to my foster mom so I wouldn't get hurt. First and foremost I am a total sweetheart. Gentle and kind I love everyone strangers and kids, men and ladies, and other dogs of every size, even the itty bitty ones. I’m a little bit playful and a little bit couch potato, and I’m not into doggy toys. I’d rather be snuggled beside you or tagging along with the family for any fun activity. I love going for walks and taking rides in the car. I’m crate trained and housebroken and know how to use a doggy door. I’m well-behaved and only bark when someone knocks on the door. FYI, I’m a dog who smiles. Yep, I show all my teeth sometimes when I’m feeling happy and it's adorable! I’m ready for a brand new future with very nice people and I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be. Inquire about me today and bring me home!

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
