My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Available for Adoption: 9/28/24-Applications need to be approved before a meet and greet will be set up for any Fetching Hearts Rescue dogs.

Meet Froyo!!!!

This sweet, handsome and loving boy was found as a stray and brought to the shelter in Tennessee. Fetching Hearts Rescue pulled him as he needed a place to go.

Froyo is one loving boy who is a total lap dog. He will enjoy being outdoors with you when you are out gardening or raking leaves this fall. He enjoys being curious and checking out the fenced-in backyard. Froyo also enjoys hanging out with his dog friends and even going on leisure walks. Froyo will run around when he's outside to get his little bit of energy that he has out. Once he is in the house he is totally chill. Loves to curl up on the couch and chew on a bone. This little man would be able to go to a couple or family with a little bit older kids just due to his size. Froyo is always wiggling his butt and wagging his tail when he's meeting new people.

If you are looking for a smaller friend to be part of your family forever, Froyo is the boy for you. Apply now for him as he cannot wait to meet you.

Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (Kennel Cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming, Microchip, Flea and Tick Prevention and Heartworm Prevention.

Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.

HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
