The owner of Arlo, Lainey and 4 other akc registered doxies was living in a rental home with 4 children and the landlord said the dogs had to go. Her mom took them while she was supposed to find another place to live but that did not happen. Her mom had 3 dogs of her own and was overwhelmed so she asked for help. All the dogs are sweet but we took Arlo and Lainey. These two are quite bonded so we are going to try to place them together. They are both spay/neutered, UTD on vaccines and HW negative, They will also be microchipped. In their original home, they were left on a slf feeder and I am afraid Arlo overindulged. He needs a home where they will go for walks and watch their diets. but he is so so sweet and cute! Loves cuddles and kisses! They both seem to be reliably housetrained. Arlo is a red pie bald and Lainey is a black and tan wirehaired doxie. Arlo was born on 8/13/2020 so he is 4 years old, Lainey is 3. We are an all volunteer rescue group that tries to give as many pets as possible a chance at a good life when all of their other doors have been closed.We pull dogs from high kill shelters in the South when they are scheduled for euthanization and foster them in TN while trying to find them great,forever homes in New England. Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in the New England area. Due to this it is not always possible to meet them prior to their adoption. Our Tennessee dogs are brought up to their new owners weekly! We have a 14 day money back guarantee and the dog can be returned to us if things don't work out. We are also staunch advocates of SPAY AND NEUTER. The only way to stop the millions of lives needlessly lost every year is to SPAY and NEUTER! We have been doing this for 9 years with little or no donations, so please , if you can donate please do so. We have saved thousands of dogs since the start of our mission and want to continue to do so as long as finances permit.
