Tinkerbell is a 5-year-old, gorgeous Siamese cat. She was surrendered to a local shelter with 3 other cats she lived with. Their previous owner became sick and could not take care of them anymore. Her foster mom has bragged on how sweet and loving she is. Tinkerbell along with her housemates, all seemed so grateful to have a place to land when they were displaced at the last minute. More about this rescue

The Humane Society of Davie County is a non-profit 501c3 group seeking to make a difference in the lives of animals in Davie County and surrounding areas. The Humane Society obtained tax-exempt status in late 1998 and since then has endeavored to improve conditions for animals at the local animal shelter, raise awareness in the community about the need of spay/neuter of animals, and place numerous previously unwanted animals into loving homes. The Humane Society’s long-term goal is to eliminate the overpopulation of dogs and cats in Davie County.
