What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Rosie is about 12 years old and we have had her 8 years now. We have to rehome her due to her behavior getting worse due to us having a new baby. She started eliminating outside of the box more when I was pregnant, specifically eliminating in areas only I sat in, and now she has started going right outside the box sometimes. Anytime we have taken her to the vet, they say her health is great and they don't know why she's doing it. She also does not have most of her teeth, and she had been losing them even before we adopted her almost 8 year ago. She is very attention demanding a lot of the time, once she is okay with you. She can be incredibly skittish and scared at first. Once she gets to know you, she loves pets, to snuggle and belly rubs. She is incredibly docile. She is an indoor only cat. She is an absolute sweetheart and we have loved having her as a part of our family and doing this absolutely breaks our hearts and was the hardest decision we have had to make.
