My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable pair of puppies (Finn & Quinn) were brought to the HSOV on September 17, 2024 by an individual who found them on State Route 550 in Washington County Ohio (exact location was not provided). Neither of the puppies were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped.

Finn & Quinn are estimated to be 3-months old and are possibly Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mixes.

Finn (male) has a chocolate brown-and-white short smooth coat, white paws, a long tail, and a cute face with pale brown eyes, a liver-colored nose, a dusting of white on his slender muzzle, and large semi-erect ears. Finn weighs 8.2 lbs.

Quinn (female) has a brown-and-tan short smooth coat with subtle black shading, a long tail, and a sweet innocent-looking face with hopeful trusting eyes, black shading on her tiny muzzle, and large ears that she sometimes holds semi-erect. Quinn weighs 10 lbs.

Finn and Quinn have playful puppy personalities, and it seems that they are in continuous "play mode" (smile) .. But they occasionally take power naps together.

Thanks to HSOV Volunteer Jennie Payton Sherrard for helping Finn with his photos and to HSOV Volunteer Julie Schaad Lowther for assisting Quinn with her photos.

We will post additional individual photos of Finn and Quinn but wanted potential owner/adopters to see them together and know that they are in our shelter. They would either 1) love to go back home or 2) find a fabulous home if not reclaimed.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Finn and Quinn were held for three days so that their family would have an opportunity to reclaim them. As of closing time on September 22nd, nobody had called or came looking for these little ones.

Update: Quinn was adopted on October 1,2024 but Finn is still waiting for someone to offer him a loving home.
