My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Micah is a playful, gentle, curious and expressive 2 year old who loves to run and get out and explore. He is sociable and gets along great with other dogs and kids. Micah is smart, and quickly learns routines and patterns.

We fostered Micah when he was five weeks old, and adopted him shortly after. At first we though he was a beagle. Instead, he is a Treeing Walker Hound that is a bit bigger than a beagle. We live in a small apartment, and Micah needs more space than our little home can provide him.

Up until now we could take him on trips to the dog park and give social time with other dogs at daycare, but our situation has changed and we need to find Micah a new home. The ideal family for Micah would live in a house with a fenced-in yard where he can run and play. He would be thrilled to have another dog in the home that can match his playful energy, or kids that want to chase and play tag in the yard. Micah is a great fit for an active family, and will keep up on any adventure.
