Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Danica (AKA Dani)!!
Dani is a 5-year-old, 35lb beagle mix and she is an absolute love bug! She loves to be wherever you are or at least in a place where she can keep her eyes on you. She loves kisses and cuddles and being close to her people, including laying at your feet, on the couch right next to you or even on your lap.
Her superpowers include being a fast learner (she came knowing how to sit), loving all people everywhere, and getting along great with other dogs and even cats, she does well on a leash and comes when called (especially if she thinks she's going to lose sight of you).
In terms of house training, she has done excellent having only one accident, and that was probably not her fault in that I did not get her out quickly enough. When given the opportunity to potty outside, she takes it without further accidents.
Some of her favorite things, besides her person, are dental chews and treats!
If you're looking for the biggest love bug who will greet you with full body kisses, a wagging tail and doggy dance every time you walk in the door and loves spooning and snuggling at night and at naptime, she might be your perfect match.
Danica is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $275.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
