This helps Mutts N Such Rescue with pet care costs.
Meet April! She is THE most snuggly dog there is. She had to go through a knee surgery at her young age of about 1 year old, is healed up nicely, and has been using that leg MUCH better. She’s a big lap dog and loves to toss her toys around and play. If you want a warm “I missed you so much!” welcome when you get home, she’s your dog. She’s absolutely great with other dogs and would probably be happiest in a home with another playful dog to roll around with. She has a penchant for utter silliness and is a laugh waiting to happen. If allowed, she would love to snuggle up with you and share a bed/couch through all hours of the night. April is amazing with kids as long as they don’t mind big dog kisses. She does great on a leash, listens well, and has picked up basic commands SO quickly. She is impossible not to fall in love with. As her fosters, we have definitely fallen for this ball of love and silliness and will miss her like crazy but are looking forward to getting her into the perfect home. April was born April 2023 and is located in a foster home in Texas.
OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.
All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).
Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.
