My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello to our adorable girl (yes girl) Johnnie Walker! She is the best type of kitten. While she loves her playtime (especially with her sister Basil Hayden) she is also ready to cuddle up for a rest.

She is great with other cats and doesn't mind her foster's cat friendly dog.

She is a confident beauty with a crisp tabby pattern. She loves to play with her siblings and climb, especially if it’s a baby gate designed to keep her from exploring! She appreciates a good cuddle and likes to jump at flirt pole toys. She’s looking for a forever family for Christmas and is sure to keep you on your toes!

She is confident and is usually hanging out with her littermates Jack and sister Basil and encouraging her to play. She will be a confident cat, likes to chase toys, and will come up to greet people.

Johnnie is a brave one and was the first to adventure out of his siblings. She wants to know all that you are doing and will follow you each step of the way.

She was the first to walk out of her litter and she’s been on the go ever since! Johnnie Walker is a mover and shaker in this group and likes to be part of a crew.

She and her sister Basil Hayden are a team during rest and play. We'd loved to see them adopted together as Johnnie helps Basil to be more confident. If you’re only looking for one kitten, that’s okay too!

This girl will love to snuggle up by your side and then set off on adventures after! Is your family the group for her next big adventure?

She is fostered with other cats in addition to her littermates and a small dog who doesn’t pay much attention to the kitties. Based on this we think she would be fine in a home with other friendly cats and chill dog with proper slow intros.

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties?

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!

Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.

Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
