My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellie came to Safe Haven for Animals as a scared, one-eyed momma cat to a litter of four kittens. Her kittens have all been adopted, and Ellie would be a wonderful forever pet in a quiet, calm household.

Even though Ellie is very petite, she is extremely food motivated, probably due to having to survive as a young pregnant homeless cat. When it is feeding time, she is always waiting eagerly for her meal and likes to help our volunteers by cleaning up other cats leftovers. :-)

She enjoys head pets, ear scratches and brushing of her soft, gorgeous coat. Her tail elevator works better than any other kitty in our shelter.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

There is an application and fee required for adoption of our kitties. We begin with a phone interview. If that goes well then an appointment is set up for the potential adopters to come and meet our kitties. If one is chosen a home inspection is scheduled. If that goes well the darling kitty is delivered and a follow up call will happen a week or so later.
