A22176 Gizmo is a tan and white colored, approximately 1-year-old, 62-pound, neutered male Husky.
He entered the shelter as a stray on 09-22-2024.
Gizmo is a friendly, eager and excited boy here at the shelter. Our staff says he is high energy, friendly and loves people and attention. He was easy to leash but pulled hard and jumped in excitement. He does jump up on people for love and attention and will need some training to be his best family member. He has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. Gizmo will be an exciting, loving family member in his new forever home!

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
