My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mister! This lovely boy is ready to find his new home and share his sweet personality with a forever family. Mister is cuddly, charming, and undeniably cute, making him the perfect companion for anyone looking to add a little love to their life.

Mister is a social butterfly who enjoys the company of other cats. He would be thrilled to join his brother, Peppercorn, in a loving home, or he could find happiness alongside one of his other brothers, Monty or Nibbles. Whether he's snuggling up for a cozy nap or playfully engaging with his feline siblings, Mister is sure to bring joy and companionship wherever he goes.

This affectionate boy loves to be near his humans and thrives on attention and playtime. With his endearing personality and playful spirit, Mister is excited to meet his new family and become a cherished member of the household.

If you're looking for a sweet and snuggly friend who will brighten your days, look no further than Mister! Please submit a pre-adoption questionnaire here: https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
