If you are looking for a happy-go-lucky buddy, look no further. Koda is the king of the big stretches and the full body shake. He is very curious and follows his foster parent all over the house. In the kitchen, he will sit or lay down nearby in hopes for a treat, but generally stays out of the way as she prepares dinner. He is the perfect coworker as he rarely barks, and is unbothered by road noise and sirens. During the day he likes to lay outside of the home office and nap/watch his foster work. He occasionally comes in for pets, then returns to his post so his foster can continue working. Koda is not very interested in toys, but is very food motivated. The crate is not his favorite place to be, but he has come to understand that is where his foster gives him tasty treats, and that it is a safe space for him. He especially likes to take refuge in there when his foster tries to brush him. Koda is house trained, and does his business outside. He has not had any accidents indoors. He is also a very good sport. Come meet him and fall in love with him today!
Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.
** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience. **
