My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Toad! He was surrendered to the shelter on 9/21 because another dog in the house wasn't very nice to him. Toad is friendly and sweet with all the humans he's met in the shelter so far! He doesn't know a stranger! His previous family mentioned that Toad is good with kids and other dogs, though please bring your dog to meet him if you're interested in adopting. It seems Toad may have some trauma from his previous experience with dogs because his first meet and greet with a potential adopter's dog didn't go well. Toad knows how to sit nicely when asked, and he takes treats very gently. He has been quiet, calm, and very chill in his kennel since his arrival. For as big as he is, Toad walks pretty nicely on leash. Toad is still quite young, so he'll need a confident and kind person to lead him into adulthood. Toad may be best as an only dog, so if you have room in your heart and home for Toad to be the king of the castle, please come meet him today!

Toad is 10 months old, and he weighs 99 lbs. He still has a bit of growing to do so he'll be an XL-sized dog when fully grown. Toad is UTD on vaccines, and he has been neutered and microchipped. He will be heartworm tested upon adoption. Toad is waiting patiently in run 872; his ID # is 662105.

Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.
